This research titled "Digital Reality and Youth Mindset: An Analysis of Mentality under the Shadow of Social Media" offers an in-depth analysis of the impact of social media on the mindset of youth in the modern digital era. The study reveals that platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and WhatsApp profoundly influence young individuals’ thought processes, emotional responses, and mental health. Approximately 84.5% of participants acknowledged that social media had altered their perspectives. Data was collected from around 100 individuals aged between 18 and 30 years. The findings indicate that most youth spend 3 to 6 hours daily on social media. Excessive use of these platforms leads to digital addiction, anxiety, reduced self-awareness, and a narrowing of thought. Furthermore, algorithm-driven content curation fosters ideological polarization. The study concludes that while social media serves as a powerful tool for information and communication, it also brings forth significant mental, intellectual, and social challenges. The research emphasizes the need for digital literacy, self-regulation, and a balanced approach to social media usage
