This research paper examines the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and its implications for teacher education programs, specifically in the context of multimedia support. The NEP 2020 aims to revolutionize the education system in India by introducing new policies, curricula, and pedagogies. One of the key components of the NEP 2020 is to provide continuous professional development to teachers through various mediums, including multimedia resources. This paper explores the potential benefits and challenges of incorporating multimedia support in teacher education programs and highlights the importance of technology-enhanced learning for effective teacher training. The study employs a qualitative research approach, using interviews and surveys to collect data from teacher educators, teachers, and policymakers. The findings suggest that multimedia-supported teacher education programs can enhance teacher competencies, increase motivation and engagement, and improve student learning outcomes. However, the study also highlights the need for appropriate infrastructure, resources, and training to ensure effective implementation of multimedia-supported teacher education programs. Overall, the paper contributes to the discourse on teacher education and technology-enhanced learning in the context of NEP 2020, providing insights for policymakers, educators, and researchers in India and beyond
